Security vulnerability warning with cheap gadgets
Christmas is often the time when consumers buy IT gadgets as presents but technical experts are warning that people should be careful and not buy the cheapest deal.

Because many of these gadgets use the same technology, they can become targets for hackers, though primarily they will hit the cheaper devices in the home.
Well-known branded products from the likes of Nest take much more care to ensure their products have inbuilt protection.
This is one situation where it pays to buy the best, even if it costs a bit more.
